Third Sector Lab — new website

A first-pass sitemap for the new site, pulled together from our discovery sessions, the brand deck, the “problems to be solved” doc and a crawl of the development build. Two top-level pillars — Programmes and Services — sit alongside Work, Resources, Events, About and Contact. Services collapse into three holistic pillars rather than a long list; Digital Trustees runs as a landing plus two audience paths; The Curve routes to live workshops now and to on-demand courses later. Every page is built from a small set of reusable templates, so the distinct badges below are also the wireframe backlog — we wireframe one of each, not one per page.

Core audiences the site must serve
Where this came from, and what’s still open
Agreed in our sessions
  • Programmes & Services stay the two pillars, as normal dropdowns. The dev build’s richer “mega-menu with one-line descriptions” is an option worth keeping.
  • Three holistic service pillars, not a long service list.
  • Digital Trustees = one landing, then two audience paths that lightly cross-signal each other.
  • The Curve routes to live workshops (via your booking tool) now; on-demand courses are designed and phased in.
  • Case studies live in a Work hub and embedded across the site; guides live in Resources and drop in as mini “download this” CTAs.
  • Events (Tech for Good) is top-level for now.
  • People = the associate/network model; lean subtly on Ross as the credible voice.
Still to confirm
  • A name for the ongoing “digital partnership” offer, and the homepage one-liner.
  • Final service-pillar names (working titles used here).
  • Whether the SCVO leaders programme and “commission us” stay in the Programmes dropdown or move to a dedicated For funders page later.
  • Real proof numbers (18 years, 8,000+ trained, sites launched, boards strengthened) — from Ross.
  • The flagship case studies, with permissions and images.
The templates — this is the first-pass wireframe backlog
Nine reusable templates cover the whole site — give any one a click to open its wireframe. Programme and Service pages share one long-form base, so realistically it’s ~7–8 unique layouts to draw.
